CEMEX Bangladesh successfully introduced its new product," SHAKTI" - an all purpose cement for foundation, floor, brick- laying, plastering and other concrete works.
SHAKTI was formally launched at Sylhet on October 6, 2004 in an evening of celebration with about 70 retailers, masons, and big contractors from all over the city. It was organized by CEMEX Bangladesh in cooperation with its area distributor, M/S Munayam Khan Babul.

The celebration was marked by a presentation of the technical features of "SHAKTI" by Country Director, Juan Carlos Rincon and Commercial Director, Enamul Islam, followed by a hearty dinner, question and answer session and distribution of prizes among the raffle draw winners.
Others present in the affair were Sales Manager Nasirul Islam and Marketing Executive Hafizul Adith.

CEMEX Bangladesh goes full blast with the promotional campaign of its new product " SHAKTI", across the country.
Retailers and Mason Nights were held at Rajshahi and Bogra on Oct 12 and Oct 13, respectively. Both were a huge success with about 100 guests -- big contractors, engineers, retailers and masons, per night out.
T-shirts imprinted with SHAKTI logo were given out as souvenirs. They also raffled prizes consisting of branded travel bag, wall cloth with SHAKTI logo and SHAKTI's Mug.

Present in both occasions were Managing Director, Juan Carlos Rincon, Deputy Commercial Director, Enamul Islam,
Area Sales Manager, Nasirul Alam and Marketing Executive, Hafizul Adith. They handled product presentation and the Question and Answer portion.
